Rest in Peace, Eleanor Parker.
Parker went back and forth from A-list movies, to B’s. When going to see an Eleanor Parker film, you may not recognize her not only physically, but her range of acting ability, perplexed many moviegoers, who were used to their stars being stereotyped. Her film performances include : Caged, Detective Story, Scaramouche, The Man with the Golden Arm, The Sound of Music, The Voice of the Turtle, The Naked Jungle, The King and Four Queens, Above and Beyond, A Hole in the Head TV Performances: Bracken’s World, Vanished (1971), Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Personal Information: Eleanor Jean Parker Born on June 26, 1922 in Cedarville, Ohio – Died today, December 9, 2013, aged 91.
So sad, to lose another actress from the Golden Hollywood Era
