A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words: Norma Jeane

“The Red Sweater” pictures of Norma Jeane Baker, started the whirlwind career of Marilyn Monroe. Although, she modeled and had small parts in some films, this red sweater (and the sexy, appeal of the “sweater girl”) had people noticing the young, lady. Soon, she had her reddish-brown locks dyed (with peroxide) and became the Marilyn Monroe we all know and love.
